Stock Analysis DCF Webapp - Stellar Valuation
Originally conceived out of necessity as a final project in my Investment Analysis course at Marquette, the Stellar Valuation Engine evolved into a passion project driven by a deep interest in financial markets and investment research. Today, it stands as a Python-driven web application engineered to bridge the gap between real-time market data retrieval and dynamic valuation modeling. Designed for students, investment analysts, and corporate finance professionals alike, the platform automates intrinsic value calculations through interactive Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models, custom Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) configurations, and multi-variable sensitivity matrices. By streamlining data extraction and automating downstream calculations, it eliminates manual modeling friction while delivering audit-ready financial insights, complete with exportable model outputs in standardized Excel and PDF formats for seamless presentation and further analysis.
- • Dynamic DCF Valuation Modeling: Executes real-time intrinsic value projections by combining customizable growth vectors, explicit forecast horizons, and dynamic terminal value assumptions.
- • Automated Capital Structure & WACC Calculation: Synthesizes market risk premiums, unlevered beta adjustments, and real-time capital structure weights to establish precise, risk-adjusted discount rates via CAPM.
- • Multi-Variable Sensitivity Matrices: Generates interactive heatmaps that isolate enterprise and equity value variances across fluctuating cost of capital (WACC) and terminal growth inputs.
- • Institutional Reporting & Export Pipeline: Formats complex model outputs, historical financial statements, and valuation sensitivity matrices into publication-grade XLSX and PDF deliverables.
- • Interactive Financial Education Module: Integrates an onboard repository of core valuation definitions, formula breakdowns, and methodology guides, transforming complex quantitative modeling into an accessible learning environment for novice analysts.
