FRITZ MULKEY
Hi, I'm Fritz Mulkey - thanks for stopping by! I'm a Marquette University graduate (B.S. in Business Administration, with focus in Information Systems & Real Estate) now based in Dallas, Texas. Since graduating, I've spent my time designing and building a variety of projects-from custom software built independently, to work developed during my time in school. This portfolio serves as a showcase of those projects, as well as a space where I like to share my perspective on emerging trends and ideas in technology.
Background
Born and raised in Palos Verdes, Southern California, I moved to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University, an experience I truly loved, where I built lifelong relationships and fully embraced everything Wisconsin has to offer. During my time at Marquette, I spent a summer semester studying international business at the University of Antwerp in Belgium. I've always been driven by travel, meeting new people, and engaging in deep conversations about finance and technology.
Today, I'm based in Dallas, Texas, eager to launch my career in tech. My foundation began in real estate, influenced early on by my father's work in multifamily syndication. However, during my sophomore year in college, I was introduced to Information Systems. I had always been fascinated by computers and emerging tech, but IS gave that passion direction. Over time, my focus expanded into data security and the broader cybersecurity ecosystem. The intersection of my commercial real estate background and my passion for IS and data privacy shapes the unique perspective I bring to building secure, efficient systems today.
What I'm interested in
I've always viewed problem-solving as a puzzle. I thrive at the intersection where real-world operational inefficiencies meet clean, data-secured architecture. While I didn't start out as a "data-first" person, it has become central to how I think - whether I'm analyzing commercial real estate, evaluating market trends, diving into quantitative stock models, or reading up on the latest AI-driven hack or data leak. In today's fast-moving digital landscape, I strongly believe that data protection and cybersecurity are becoming the defining challenges of modern infrastructure, and that is precisely where I am looking to build my career.
When I'm not analyzing data or building applications, you'll find me on the lacrosse field, working on my golf game, or playing videogames with friends. I'm passionate about giving back, whether that's coaching youth sports or volunteering in my local community. I also spend a good chunk of my free time reading up on current tech stories, obsessing over market data, and defending my very strong opinions as an avid film and TV buff!
