Under maintenance: the information currently attached to the website is placeholder content only, since my mom has not yet added her personal touch. Nothing shown on the live site should be taken as accurate yet, it is simply holding the page until Quinn gets her hands on it.
What began as an academic final project in a food and culture course at Marquette University transformed into a personal passion project and what turned out to be the ultimate Mother's Day gift. Designed specifically for my mom, The Mulkey Table bridges the gap between web design and personal heritage, providing a private, beautifully curated space for her to archive family recipes alongside the stories, history, and photos attached to each dish. It also serves as a living blog to document travel logs and celebrate the memories we've made with family and friends throughout the years.

Family Memory Architecture
- • Interactive Recipe & Memory Hub: Designed a clean, searchable interface that pairs culinary instructions with personal stories, preserving contextual family history alongside every recipe.
- • Custom Admin & Client Authentication: Implemented password-protected role management (Admin vs. Guest access), enabling dynamic content uploading while keeping family media private.
- • Multi-Format Media Integration: Integrated PDF rendering and image preview features using native JavaScript APIs and canvas rendering, allowing users to upload and view handwritten recipe cards, flyers, and photos seamlessly.
- • Lightweight Native Architecture: Built entirely using vanilla HTML, CSS, and JS to eliminate framework overhead, ensure fast load times, and provide long-term ease of maintenance.
